When I first pressed play on Where Do I Start? by Jake Cassman, I was struck by the quiet strength of his voice as it delivered a question as old as the heart itself “where do I start?” From the opening guitar motif to the subtle shift in rhythm midway, this single charts a path between reflection and resolve. I found the production clean but warm, arranging space around the vocals so that Cassman’s earnest lyricism can breathe. My favourite moment is when the drums tiptoe in, transforming the track from contemplation into momentum and in that uplift I sensed both vulnerability and growing confidence. In all, Cassman has crafted a thoughtful and relatable indie-pop gem that invites repeated listens, and I’m pleased to recommend it.
