Sherakai – Satellite

Writing under the byline of “Alex Monroe,” I am pleased to present my thoughts on Satellite the latest single from Sherakai. From its opening chords the track establishes a luminous atmosphere, the kind that immediately invites you in and holds you there. Sherakai’s songwriting pairs effortlessly with producer Jordan Sherman’s polished production, resulting in a synth-laden pop sound that feels both fresh and comforting. The melody, warm and soaring, rides on a steady groove that never overpowers. The single is reflective, touching on distance and connection in a way that feels intimate without being overly confessional. I found myself returning to it, drawn in by its subtle hooks and emotional clarity. In short, ‘Satellite’ is a fine demonstration of how indie pop can succeed in striking a balance between sophistication and heartfelt sincerity.
