Dan Croll brings a refreshing sense of warmth and sincerity to his single “Try Try Try,” a lovely indie folk track that celebrates the simple things that make relationships meaningful. Built around gentle acoustic guitars, soft percussion, and a relaxed rhythm, the song has an inviting sound that feels familiar from the first listen.
Croll’s tender vocals fit beautifully with the arrangement, while touches of mandolin, pedal steel, and cello give the music extra character. The repeated lyrics are simple but effective, expressing the importance of having someone to trust, support, and share life with. There’s something genuinely comforting about the way he delivers that message without making it overly sentimental.
What I particularly enjoy about “Try Try Try” is how naturally everything comes together. The instrumentation gradually fills out, yet the song never loses its personal feel. It’s the kind of track that makes you appreciate thoughtful songwriting and honest emotion.
With its easygoing charm and uplifting spirit, “Try Try Try” is another wonderful example of Dan Croll’s ability to turn everyday feelings into memorable music that stays with you.
