Giuseppe Cucè brings a refreshing sense of purpose to Italian pop with his single “ESTASI E VELENO,” a song that pairs infectious rhythms with something genuinely worth thinking about. Released through TRP Vibes, the track captures the strange contradictions of modern life without sacrificing its musical appeal.
The production feels sharp and confident, with lively electronic textures, engaging guitar accents, and a steady groove that gives Cucè’s expressive vocals plenty of room to shine. The chorus is particularly memorable, delivering an irresistible melodic hook that makes returning for another listen almost inevitable.
What I appreciate most is Cucè’s ability to address the confusion of today’s world while keeping the music accessible and enjoyable. His lyrics explore the blurred lines between truth, illusion, and the distractions we encounter daily, giving the song a meaningful identity beyond its catchy arrangement.
“ESTASI E VELENO” succeeds because it never forces its message. Instead, it invites listeners to enjoy the moment while considering what lies beneath. For me, that’s the mark of thoughtful, accomplished pop songwriting with lasting appeal.
