Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Parmy Dhillon continues to show why his music deserves attention with his latest single, “Nothing for Free,” released on July 9, 2026. Drawing from his background in alternative folk, country, and classic rock, Dhillon brings a personal approach to songwriting that feels refreshingly grounded.
What makes Dhillon an interesting artist is his willingness to embrace honesty rather than chase passing trends. His musical identity has always been closely tied to storytelling, and “Nothing for Free” arrives as another welcome addition to his growing catalogue. There’s something appealing about an artist who understands the importance of connecting with listeners through everyday experiences and genuine emotion.
I admire Dhillon’s commitment to making music that reflects who he is, without feeling the need to follow anyone else’s path. That independence gives his work a character worth appreciating.
Following releases such as “Nashville” and “Move On,” this new single offers another reason to keep Parmy Dhillon on your radar. For listeners who appreciate sincere songwriting and artists with a clear sense of identity, he’s certainly worth discovering.
