Sometimes, the songs that leave the strongest impression are the ones that ask for nothing but your attention. ThBenj proves exactly that with his new single, “Count to ten,” a thoughtful release that finds beauty in slowing down and appreciating the present.
Built around gentle electric guitar and heartfelt vocals, the track takes a refreshingly simple approach. There’s no unnecessary production or attempt to overwhelm the listener. Instead, ThBenj allows his voice and lyrics to carry the emotion, creating a personal atmosphere that feels natural and sincere.
Inspired by his decision to step away from social media, “Count to ten” explores the importance of finding peace in a world constantly demanding more. The message feels especially relevant today, encouraging listeners to value their well-being over endless pressure and expectations.
What I particularly appreciate about this song is how comfortably ThBenj delivers such a meaningful message without making it feel heavy. His honest performance gives the music its character, making “Count to ten” a genuinely rewarding listen and a welcome reminder that simplicity still has a place in modern music.
