Christopher Lynn Simpson – Talking To God

Christopher Lynn Simpson brings a deeply personal story to life with “Talking To God,” released on June 26, 2026. Rooted in faith, reflection, and second chances, the single offers an honest look at life’s difficult turns and the comfort of finding your way back.

Featuring vocals from Mike Lusk of Montgomery Gentry, the song benefits from a warm, expressive delivery that suits its intimate message. The understated instrumentation gives the lyrics room to breathe, allowing every emotion to settle naturally. Simpson’s songwriting feels especially genuine as he reflects on his younger years, past mistakes, and the importance of holding onto faith through uncertain times.

What I appreciate most about “Talking To God” is its ability to address regret without losing its sense of hope. There’s something reassuring about a song that acknowledges life’s struggles while reminding listeners that change is always possible.

With thoughtful writing, heartfelt vocals, and a gentle musical arrangement, Christopher Lynn Simpson has created a moving single that deserves attention. “Talking To God” is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest conversations carry the greatest meaning.
