Offering a minimalist swing with atmospheric bursts, Joseph Marcus multiplies the emotionally-filled cracklings, leading into an exquisite trance. IDWU is about a situation Marcus went through where he had to decide he was no longer going to subject himself to that imbalance and had to remind himself of his own worth.

Joseph Marcus is a singer/songwriter and bedroom producer. Distinctively soulful, with a voice reminiscent of 00’s R&B that is instantly recognizable, his sound is formed through a blend of classic pop songwriting and contemporary electronic production, injected heavily with R&B and Art Pop influences. Since his debut, Joseph has already worked with established producers such as SG Lewis and Phairo (Bruno Major, Eliza, Liv Dawson…), and respected songwriters in the Pop sphere, including The Six and Sophie Cooke (Frances).
