ANDRÆ is an independent one-man band leading his own project, associating dark electronic and organic sounds with soulful vocals. Initially influenced by soul and jazz singers like Jimmy Scott or Nina Simone, he also starts showing interest in experimental pop/R&B artists like James Blake or serpentwithfeet. Currently based in London, originally from Brussels, he begins to show a natural talent for all kinds of artistic disciplines, especially visual arts, as a way of escaping a world that seems inadequate. He later teaches himself piano at around 12, then turns to songwriting and music production in his mid-teens. He writes, produces, and performs every song, and creates all his visuals and music videos himself.
